Julien Wilcock is a hugely experienced video editor at Sky Production Services (SPS) with 32 years’ experience. He is currently mainly focused on Entertainment & News, covering flagship shows like ‘A League Of Their Own’ (studio, road trips & specials), ‘There’s Something About Movies’, ‘Rob & Romesh Vs.’, ‘The Week That Wasn’t’, as well as popular kids show ‘FYI: For Your Info’ and various Sky News documentaries.
Just shy of his 24-year anniversary at SPS, he has specialised in onlining, and worked in several other areas of editing. ‘A League Of Their Own’ (ALOTO) stands out as one of Julien’s favourite projects as he’s worked on the popular comedy production since 2010. During that time, ALOTO has become a two-time BAFTA award-winning show and continues to go from strength to strength in its 16th season, and Julien has been privileged to be responsible for the online editing.
Beginning his journey tape editing at a corporate production company, Julien made the move to Sky in 1997 as an editor on a weekday evening show called ‘Sports Centre’. This would eventually morph into Sky Sports News, where he continued to work for a number of years before moving over into facilities. Now, Julien is one of SPS’ most highly skilled and sought-after editors.
