Meet The Editors: Robbie Easterbrook

Robbie Easterbrook is an exceptionally talented video editor at Sky Production Services (SPS) with 23 years’ experience. Currently, Robbie’s core focus is mainly on Sport, including blockbuster projects like Premier League football, PGA Tour, Ryder Cup & Major Championship golf, as well as numerous Sky Sports documentaries.

In more than 2 decades at SPS, his area of expertise has been online and offline storytelling on both short (promos/openers/features) & long-form productions, and worked across numerous other areas including grading, graphics and sound. One of Robbie’s most notable recent projects was ’Tiger Woods: Back’ (aired in July 2020), a biographical documentary following the rise, fall, and comeback of the iconic golf superstar. Produced during the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘Tiger Woods: Back’ was one of SPS’ first hybrid (on & off-site workflows) projects, and Robbie was privileged to be responsible for the online and offline, as well as the GFX.

Starting out editing Christmas video quizzes at his scout group at the age of 14, Robbie followed his passion for media into higher education. Fresh from graduating in Media Production, he joined Line Recording in Sky News in 1998 before making the transition to Trainee Editor in 2000. Working his way up the ladder, Robbie is now one of SPS’ top tier and most sought-after editors.
