For the fifth-consecutive year, Sky has been named as one of the top 50 employers for women, leading the way in making gender equality integral to core business strategy.
Published in partnership with Business in the Community & The Prince’s Responsible Business Network, The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2020 lists organisations that are committed to gender equality in the workplace and have each taken action to make this happen. The list celebrates outstanding progress and examples of best practice, impact, innovation, and individual achievement.

In addition to making the list, SPS’ very own Laura Butcher has also been featured in this year’s supplement, which highlights the progress made to overcome challenges faced throughout the last decade, and what actions businesses can take going forward.
As chair of Parents@Sky, Sky’s 3,000-strong employee network run by volunteers aiming to achieve a good work-life balance, Laura said: “The societal norm is for women to be caretakers and men to have careers. Men need to see other men taking longer periods off to be with their families to feel that it’s OK.”
