Working at Sky Sports as a member of the Vision Mixing team we play a crucial role in Sky Sports live productions, operating in a dynamic department, responsible for the technical operation of events seen by millions of sports fans around the world.

Covering a wide range of exciting content from Premier League to Rugby League, Test Cricket to the Superbowl, EFL Football to Formula 1; we are in the driving seat, cutting cameras and mixing shots in this fast-paced and adrenaline-filled role. 

With full training opportunities provided across our vision mixer desks and multi-play screen systems, our team operate state-of-the-art technology, constantly learning and developing their skills. The action never stands still, and you’ll feel the buzz of collaborating with highly motivated production teams to deliver captivating sports content. 

• In conjunction with the content teams, execute the programming needs of the production in either the live or pre-recorded environment. 
• Contribute to pre-production setup, testing, and rehearsal sessions to ensure all technical aspects are functioning optimally prior to live productions. 
• Collaborate closely with Directors and other team members to ensure the visual narrative aligns with the overall production goals and storytelling. 
• Develop and maintain appropriate comprehensive technical documentation. 
• Proactively manage technical facilities and equipment. 
• Provide support for wider vision mixing related workflows including asset management and distribution. 
• Troubleshoot technical issues and make real-time adjustments to maintain the smooth operation of a production. 
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to vision mixing and live production techniques.
